Christian Grein started his career at the fixed income trading desk of various banks in Austria. Since 2002 he has been active in several functions within the asset management of UNIQA Insurance Group. Since 2017 he has concentrated on private markets with a special focus on private debt and leveraged loans. In this particular segment, he has been actively involved in the construction and set-up of a private debt portfolio taking into account special investment requirements for insurance portfolios. He is CFA and CAIA charterholder.
